Can’t believe people still eat rice crispy cereal.
I did as a kid when there was like 5 brands to choose from. Still have to dump sugar on them to eat it?

Christmas wouldn't be the same without rice krispy squares (the red/green) kind.

I guess we will have to cancel Christmas.

If you can’t find red and green Rice Krispies… I don’t even get out of bed.

A friend of mine told me his Mom has not been able to find them for a year in Lloydminster. Wife called me stupid, said they have been in wallyland continually. Went there yesterday- not a single box. 'I'm sure I have seen them' but of course was not looking specifically for them, so I will give her that one.

Sobeys had 3 boxes of the green and red ones so we grabbed them for her.

Odd thing to run out of for sure.

Walmart was also completely out of chit wipes. The crazies are back.

Exclamation Scab Krispies anyone?

No great loss. Kellogg's overly processed breakfast cereals are the nutritional and flavour equivalent of cardboard.
Besides, they are attempting to break their employees and labour laws while paying record bonuses to their executives and dividends to the shareholders. While gouging the average consumer and claiming it is due to inflation; just like most other American corporations during the pandemic.

Enjoy the decline.

I kept an eye out last night due to this thread and saw them at Superstore in the Christmas variety. Didn’t bother checking at the next grocery store I was at though. Is someone trying to initiate a run on Rice Krispies ?? Kellogg’s marketing starting a viral conspiracy ?

Better stock up. Just in case

I was at Save-On today and the whole breakfast cereal aisle looked a bit bare. There was stuff there, but lots of empty space too.

Maybe due to all the road closures in BC?

After reading this thread, I kept an eye out today when I was at the local Safeway. Lo and behold, there was one industrial sized box left! I wrestled with it but decided I wouldn't be able to convince my wife that Rice Krispy squares were a Christmas thing. Thinking more about how I like them though as I type this.

I noticed the missing krispies about 3 weeks ago. I always look to see if they are on sale. Then I noticed they came out with the colored ones in the small over priced box. I use to eat 2 bowls of it for breakfast everyday and 1 of cornflakes, but both those items price have gone too high to buy unless it's on sale.
