Agree. The numbers are way down in our area. Lower then I have ever seen. Our government has done well there. I really like hunting wolves and I hope we always have wolves. I like seeing them around. Just not around every corner. I think the wolf management program has been a complete success and should continue at a smaller scale in some areas and possibly expand it further into other WMU’s. But like I said. Don’t whipe them out. Life would be boring without wolves. They have more right to eat the elk then you or I do.

Ya its sure sweet music to hear wolves howling on a cold winters day. I really enjoy hunting them down too. I guess if they were wiped out I may miss them..... maybe just not right where I like to hunt. Lol

Nice to see elk and moose with calves again. I am hopeful.

I don't mind admitting, that's a shot I could not make. Great shooting.

I'm guessing you are down south somewhere, around here the action has been a bit more intense, and the ranges a whole lot closer.

My next door neighbor has been whacking and stacking them since the leaves turned yellow last fall. Some times two or more a day, and no end in sight.

He has tons of trail cam photos of Wolves on his baits, and some real cool videos.
He has also found two dead wolves, killed by other wolves. He thinks there is a turf war going on between the packs because he keeps whacking the alpha males.

Fantastic, that looks like home here (Peace), where are you based?
Rare colour indeed.
What animal are you using for bait? I have a roadkill pile on my bait site (trapper licence) but nothing coming to it yet. Dogs are sure active now with breeding season.
