Went there in the winter, not this winter but the one before, never fished it, just drove in and checked it out, very few tracks on the lake but there was a lone shack. I think it was almost a dead lake awhile back but think it's on the upswing again. Hope so anyway. Looks beautiful down in there.

I'll be in the area next weekend and might give it a shot? I heard there are some giant Pike in there.

Maybe it was and a good kept secret even 4-5 years ago. 3 years ago I went back expecting great things and the lake is overrun with stunted fish. I haven't been back. Hopefully they grow fast or you will be greatly disappointed. On the upside, lots of great structure, nice area, and little people due to crappy launches and bigger lakes in the area that get all the attention. My biggest pike out of there, quite a while back, 11 lbs.

If you are thinking overnight then no. It was changed to day use only several years back.
