Default 2017 Sask Bear

It's been a pretty slow spring in the area I hunt bears in. And very, very wet. I went up on the Friday before the May long and saw I had this guy on camera at one site but not much else. Anyway, I decided to stick around a couple of days and see what happened. The first night was a bust with wind and rain. Saturday night started off the same way but mother nature threw some thunder and lightning in for good measure. Just before I was about to leave the stand, the bear from the trail cam Thursday night came in. A couple of quick shots with my 358 Winchester and it was the end of my season. Good luck to the rest of you spring bruin hunters!

Thanks. I had a 358 years ago and sold it. Finally bought a replacement.
