They've got a handle on life , as well as death. Hardly an obituary in the usual sense, from a local paper. Won't use the ladies name.
A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with malignant Melenoma. Since I am 88 years old and going blind, I declined treatment. However, last Spring i felt that cancer creeping up my leg. I decided to make plans. I booked my funeral, place, date and time, followed by a catered meal at the local community hall. To finish the day, I will do a review of my 88 years. this event will take place, whether I'm living or dead.
Not me.
