Roughriders vs Esks
This should be a dandy. Always love it when we host Sask. Great crowds and lots of excitement. I think more people make the trip from Sask, then they do from Calgary. I really hope it's good weather for the game. I say ESK'S by 10 points.
GO ESK'S GO.
By the way sask fans, please have a designated driver if your not bussing it. I'd hate to see a line of cars waiting to be towed by Elk Island park.

Eskies got this. I'll be there
The 50/50 should be around 150K, maybe a bit more

Hopefully we can set a record for the purolater tackle hunger compaign. If you forget to bring food, 1 dollar equals 2 lbs of food. I'm betting we break 100, 000 lbs.
Not to mention a fat 50/50.

Ouch! Pitiful 1st half. If this continues, someone from Sask will win the 50/50. LOL
We aren't out of it yet.

Well this is certainly a surprising turn of events! One quarter left, plenty of football for it to go either way still! Hopefully the Green and White can pull down a win!

Darn. The fire alarm has gone off at commonwealth. Guess they will have to cancel game and play another game some other day.

Didn't see this final. 54+31. Typical Rider fashion, hold strong for 3/4 of the game and then give up major points in the last 15 min. Oh well they still got the W!

Esks defence secondary, needs to play better. Defensive line was ok. Offensive line not giving Reilly enough time. Riders played better than Esks. Esks need to regroup, suffered a couple losses so far. Now battle of Alberta. Bring it on.

ESK's are a very depleted team especially on the D, lots of injuries. I think the riders will have a bit more of a challenge against the bombers next week.

That was sad to watch. Esks better rebound fast the way the west is clogging up. Couple big games coming up.

That was a good old fashioned beatdown. Best Rider win I've ever seen at Commonwealth. My head is still pretty sore after all the celebratory beverages on Jasper Ave.
Can't wait for the Labour Day classic in Regina. It's going to be a madhouse!!

Guess they can't win with fourth stringers every week, more than 20 replacement players just on defence alone this year, yikes! Getting some guys back slowly, just in time. The second half is what sorts the contenders from the pretenders.

All I can say is Boot, Kick, Slap ooey!
Riders laid a first class beat down on the Esk's. Oh sure the Esk's fans will have a thousand excuses but it was Reilly with his precise throws who threw the 2 beauty pick 6's or fumbled on the 3rd down.
Sure the Esk's training staff are working overtime today scrubbing the Riders cleat marks off of Reilly's helmet!

Actually, I can't think of any excuses. Got some injured players back, Perfect weather, Huge friendly home crowd, Ref's didn't screw up like ussual, and the Sask curse.
No, we got our ass'es handed to us in pretty well every aspect of the game. Got beat by a well prepared and motivated team Congratulations Saskatchewan
Wait till we get healthy and the rest of the teams take some injuries. Tremble in fear. lol
PS Reilly donated that helmut to a good Sask cause, and will be sporting a new one next game. Funds raised will go towards a new barber for Chris Jones.

There might even be enough left over after the cut for Maas to get the satellite dishes removed from the sides of his head.
