Default If you have a spot for the Taber Pheasant Festival but have no dogs, click this thread.

I've managed to be lucky enough to hunt in the Taber pheasant festival every year since it started. Unfortunately this year with the draw process my luck ran out and I didn't get a spot. Oh well, fair is fair, but it got me thinking.

I have 2 Weimaraners who have a serious addiction to pheasants, its pretty bad. If anybody got a spot this year that doesn't have dogs or access to dogs, and would like to hunt over dogs, send me a PM and we can try and work something out. I don't need to be a hunter, I'm more than happy to just be a dog handler and take pictures. Obviously, there will be strict rules revolving around saftety of the dogs.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in send me a PM. Preference goes out to anybody new to the sport of pheasant/bird hunting.

Im just going to leave this here, its a video I made last year:

Great video. Glad to see you had a few spots out of the wind. It was gusty last year.

You have lovely dogs. If someone reads this and has no dogs, they'd have to be on pipe dope to not take you up on your offer.

An old post revived from the dead! This year I have drawn 3 days and I think the 22nd is one of those days. I do have a few friends with dogs, if you want I can ask them if they would be interested in being a dog handler.
