Neoprenes with the heavy boots built in are definitely the way to go. I special order some for people that have neoprene +Velcro straps that are very nice, Lacrosse. The junk at Canadian tire is not durable and the boots offer your feet very little protection. I think I have an 11 and a 13 in stock if your interested.

Neoprene sure takes a lot more abuse. Can get warm and sweaty some days but when it's cold they are sweet. Neoprene hugs your body so when you fall it's not an instant fill up.
