Barney's in the Best Western is ok. For good food go 10 min north to Leannes in Millet.

Wetaskiwin Bars aren't great, I mean you can only put so much sugar and chocolate on a Lake Whitefish. Wunderbar is still my favorite, crispy crunch a close second and those 5 lb reeses peanut butter cups once a year.

There used to be a bar on main street, just east of the tracks.

I don't know if it's still there. Back in the 90s it was quiet and clean. A place for farmers and construction workers to play pool and tell lies. Good fun.

I'm not allowed to run the train
The whistle I can't blow…
I'm not allowed to say how far
The railroad cars can go.
I'm not allowed to shoot off steam,
Nor even clang the bell…
But let the damn train jump the track
And see who catches Hell!

like,thank you

The Beaver & Clarendon hotels' bars & lounges in North Battleford bring back many fond memories from the early 70's. The Beaver was aptly named!!!! I have not patronized an establishment in Wetaskiwin, never having spent time there, only passed through.
