fri. night in the hood
you can't make this chit up. so after a dismal edm. football game i decided to have a quiet evening in front of the tv watching a movie. around 11:00 pm cars started coming and going to a house down the street. despite all the problems in our end of town lately are street itself is ussually quiet, and the breakins and thefts are normally conducted late at night quietly. long story short by 2:am i had been sitting on my dark deck for awhile watching the festivities and recording all the liscence plates and makes of cars (esp.the ones street racing up and down are quiet street) in case of something serious occuring. before the police arrived i witnessed a young fellow get his hand mangled badly when the car trunk hood that was being visited often got slammed down hard on it, but the strangest thing i've seen in all my time was 2 fellows squaring off in the middle of the street for a fight holding items i could'nt make out in the dark. as the police arrived they started attacking each other with the box of CORNFLAKES they were each holding then jumping into cars and driving away leaving cornflakes all over the street (better then blood i guess)
i swear to god you could not make this stuff up
it's all good in the hood.
