I had two of them, very well built, cant think of anyone who has had warranty work done. Now and then I've found they will have a bad batch of paint but the camo ones hold up well. The things I don't like about them are that they draw long for thier rating (I shoot 29.5" on my hoyt and 28 3/4" on the apa). Also I find them to be slower than advertised and some of the lower brace height bows are finicky to tune, especially the twin cams at higher lbs.
All in all good bows, know many people who love them, but I haven't found them as easy to shoot as some other bows. JMO.

I purchased a viper v7 last fall. I am very happy with it as I have found it to be a great bow to shoot and it was quick and easy to sight in. Quite a bit of my bow hunting is spot and stalk, and one feature I really came to appreciate (more so than I originally thought I would) was the carrying handle. It simply made life easier. The only complaint I have with the bow is that the finish/paint does seem to chip and rub off easier than others that I have had. I can live with that though, and I am pretty sure my next bow will also be an apa.

None in particular.. just saw them in Lane archery and some of the guys there like them . I'm still kinda old school and don't really like the super short overall length .. as a matter of fact I would go back to shooting with fingers if I could , but shoulder won't allow it . What would you recommend ?

If you don't like the standard short axel to axel bows apa makes look into the
Mamba mx8 36.25 axel to axel. I found it a dream to shoot.

There is one feature that I like the most on an APA, it is those fangs sticking out of the riser. That bow hanger is worth its weight in gold where I hunt. The other is the carrying handle. As far as performance goes, any high end bow works well. I find mine a bit quieter than my buddies bowtech, but that may be because he shoots more poundage. I did notice my camo rubbed off the riser on the corners, but it does get used a lot so I cant say for sure if that is a product defect.

I have the viper v7 aswell. Super smooth, easy carrying and more than accurate enough for what I do. I'm not real big into the whole tuning and tweaking non sense... So I couldn't tell ya much about that. All I know is I'm hitting pie plates consistently at 60yds. Good enough!

thats where i got my mamba m6, i was so used to the draw cycle of a single cam that i thought i wanted another one, but when i tried the mamba i was sold on the dual cams! the draw is so nice on them, but try a couple, dont look at the price and one bow will stand out for ya, thats what i did and i couldnt be more happy with my choice, and dennis and cheryl are great to deal with

My wife brought me the MX2 in 2009. I love it still to this day the only bow that I would replace it with would be the Mamba 6 (only if mine got stolen). Fast accurate and quiet with a nice draw and no creep. Plus all of the cool apa features.

I met the owner of apa at the edmonton sportsmen show yesterday. Vary nice guy and really believe in his product. So later this spring when I get back to work after break up I'm going to purchase the m6 for hunting and pick it up in bigger. He also told me he will give me a tour of the factory so I can see how they make theirs bows. Really nice guys and I like the fact they are Canadian.

got a good stabilizer and vibe is down to almost 0, if u shoot a little heavier arrow too that will eliminate the rest of the shock

Odd alot of people comment that it is the complete opposite. I have shot the M7 and M6 and did not experience any hand shock or vibration or bump. Weird indeed..
