Love the pictures, thanks for posting. I'll be fishing one drainage to the North of you in a couple of days with the same intentions.

right on fishergirl i was out last nite too and hit the high mountian streams too and i was really surprized to hook into my first bull in like 9 years even though it was like 9".i was fishing a trickle of water that was maybe only a few inches deep and like 3 feet wide behide a big rock. i have heard of that area so many times looks like an awsome spot how long is the hike in?

Wow, those are fantastic pictures, FG!!!! Beautiful. Looks like a great time.
Being a born n bred BC boy, I miss my BC Lakes but I'm continually amazed how gorgeous it is out here too. I'm in love with the K-country and South down around Crowsnest Pass. I'll have to check out that area now!!!

How easy is it to take an RV to the Ram Falls PP campground? I looked at Google Street View of the road and see it's a gravel forestry road, with the odd switchback, but it looks to be in pretty good shape. Any problems with a 27 foot trailer?

Those were great pics. I can imagine you looking at that, and walking down to your spot thinking of what fly to use.... Then have something grab it.... Awesome.

Maybe one day I'll finally bite it and learn how to chuck fluff so I can head up there and check it out!

I am also suprised. I thought that there wasn't any Bulls in the South and North Ram due to the set of falls on the main ram. Awesome pictures.

Shouldnt have a problem. I believe there was quite a few large trailers around

Lol Ya its exactly that :P Gotta think like a fish. I would love to just take a whole summer and explore the foothills.
And thanks for the comments Hopefully I can try and find time to get out again before everything freezes over..
However I do got my time booked off from work for a Chilliwack or Skeena trip for the middle of October.. last fall I nearly got skunked on a 5 day salmon chase :S

Thanks, FG!! Yeah, I got a pm from a fellow member who said the same thing. We've put it on our "to do" list for new campgrounds to explore. Looks beautiful up there.
