Default New Shooting/HuntingRoom Finally Complete

After a year of loading in a small corner of the basement, storing my firearms in basically a heavily constructed lock box, and digging through rubbermaid hoppers to find my hunting clothes, our basement development is complete, and I am moved into my shooting/hunting room. I would like to have done some things different, and I may still make some small changes, but there is only so much that a person can fit into a 12'x8' room.

You have more reloading supplies than wholesale sports!
What time are you open until?

Looks good.

If I look at those photos one more time, I may have to tidy-up my own man cave!

Seriously though, it looks great. Nice work.

I built a room for myself as well when we developed the basement. It's a small 8x10 room. One side is my reloading bench, gun safe and ammo locker, the other side has all my hunting gear, packs and clothing. The door has a an electronic key pad and spring loaded hinges on the door. It's not the biggest room but it suits my needs.

Your room looks really good! It's nice having a place in the house for all your gear!

Kevin

Those are all fitted cases for SxS or O/U shotguns.

I'm totally disappointed bro !!!

Now you have to post another photo of the fish that only caught half the photo, Ha.

Job well done my friend, and let us know when you get the store hours figured out.

Cheers Don

59LB Chinook Salmon caught at River's Inlet in July of 1988. I had just landed a 47lb fish, so when this one hit, I set the hook and handed it to my father. One hour and ten minutes later, I managed to get the net on it.

At the dock that evening with the 47lb and 59lb fish.

Looks good. Have you ever had moisture issues storing rifles in hard cases?

None. I spray a bit of G-96 Gun treatment into the foam, and there is always a bit of vapor present in the case.

That is only one room out of a complete basement development and deck expansion. I have spent the last three days just setting up the loading/hunting room, and installing and painting the shelves in our new storage area. Now I am moving things out of rubbermaid hoppers into their permanent locations in the house. I am finally finding all of my gear that was packed away a year ago, I hope to have everything put away next week before the NAVHDA trials. Hopefully my pup will recover from his inflamed sinus in time to take his test.
