It is a start but those are an inch or more and are a long ways from what I would call good groups. Keep working on them, they will improve.

If ya measured them the top one would be .85 and the bottom one about .7 I'd bet, they are well under an inch if the squares are 1".

Great start, good shootin'

What kind of weird 1.5" square targets do you use...?

I would be pretty happy with these groups.

They look to be sub moa, which is better than what many people are achieving, but I don't judge a load by a single three shot group. In any case, you have a good starting point.

Wasn't criticising, just saying if they are that good off the get go with the first two loads and groups there is lots of room for them to get better.

Good shootin. I would continue on with the 4831 loads. Shootin 5 shot groups vastly helped my load development technique!

An inch or more. Really?!

What is pictured happens to be great accuracy from a factory hunting rifle by any and all standards. To say otherwise only proves one thing.

Good shooting man, and congrats on the great rifle. Have you run them over a chrony yet?

YES, those are promising, in fact very acceptable for a hunting load. BUT if you're thinking paper punching for prize money, them holes will have to "touch". And I submit that anything "Weatherby" can't do that

Some decent groups there GrandSlam. IMO anything approaching 3/4" @ 100M on a consistent basis with a factory hunting rifle is decent ... and keeping it under that is special. I will bring up an old "challenge" thread for anybody that wishes to test their rig.

Ok, ran the H4831 load over the chrono and pretty decent speed for a 24" barrel.

Default Range day

Just an update on this. Looks like the 85gr TSX and Hybrid 100v is the one for this years deer season. Averages 3400fps from the 24" barrel.
