Default Adding choke tubes ?

I have an older (79) browning Citori o/u with fixed chokes in a full over modified set up. I was wondering if anyone knows where / how much / is it worth while to add removable choke tubes,

It's a great firearm, and don't get me wrong I do love it. But I also kind of want to give it new life and more versatility, and I do know that I still won't be able to put steel shot through it, but gives me more options at the clays range, and for grouse and rabbits.

Is the gun F/M now?
Keep the full barrel and add a screw in on the modified barrel

Yeah it's full modified now.

Where would I go to get the screw in added ?
I'm in the Edmonton area so I'd prefer to try to keep it close as possible !

Have the Full Choke opened up to IC and you are set for hunting and clays. It will be less than half the cost of adding a crew in choke for one barrel. Rod Henrickson in Edmonton, or Bashaw Sports can open up the choke for you.

Last time I had it done it was $150/barrel and that included one choke.

Unless it was a really nice shotgun or has some sentimental value, I'd look for a new one first.

So the thing with putting in screw in choke tube you have to take micro callipers and make sure you have a even barrel, I mean that you must have equal amount of metal in the tip of the barrels of your choke tubes won't be true and will have a weak spot of thinner metal. It's very difficult to find shotguns with a true round barrel with enough meat to do it properly, been gunsmithing for over 20 years seen alot of botched jobs

It's easily done with hand reamers
Elwood Epps usually does those jobs and I'm pretty sure Pud at BadhawcDpirts fat it as well
