Default Maxima Hunter 250 Vs 350

I just got a great deal on Maxima Hunter KV but in 250. I am shooting a Mathews Extreme at about 64lbs with a DL of 29 inches. The arrow chart shows I should have got 350's but the choice is on the cusp between the two weights.

Bought 2 dozen with Blazer for $180 and would like to make them work but not if I am wasting my time.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

turn your draw weight down to 58-63 they should shoot fine according to their chart

Default Arrows

Put on a lighter field point or broadhead, or if you can cut them as short as you safely can, that has the same effect as stiffening the spine. Cheers roscoe

Bring your rest back as far as you can get it And that should put your arrows close to the 27 inch mark those arrows will be within spine all the way up to 69 lbs

Thx Guys, Much appreciated.

I can cut them back to 28 inches safely with my current set up but just one more question - if I do this and reduce the weight of broadhead, will they be OK for elk hunting?

The 250's even at 28" will be border line at best for Mathews Xtreme...but if they fly and tune for you they will work just fine...
