Default just wondering

Are there any trout streams in Alberta east of Calgary? I mean like small creeks, that type of thing, out in the prairies.

I'm not necessarily looking for names, but it just seems like once the land flattens out all the little creeks are either too shallow or too slow to have any trout in them. I could also have no idea what I am talking about.

I've seen plenty of fish rising in the canals draining from the bow river...

Also, if you happened to fin a large spring fed creek, that may be your only option.

How far east are you talking about? The Highwood flows into the Bow south-east of Calgary Pick up a copy of Barry Mitchell's fishing guide and check the write-ups of eastern streams. Doesn't matter if you can't get newest one. They don't change that much year over year.
