Default .257 weatherby 80 grain ttsx.

Does anyon use this bullet in there .257 weatherby? If so how did they preform?

I never used many bullets lighter than 100 grains in the 257 wby.
The ballistic programs I used to compare the bullet weights didn't show any difference worth speaking of in trajectory or energy right out to 500 yards and after that, the 100 grain bullets take the advantage.
I'm not saying you shouldn't try 80 grainers, just that I never saw much reason too, and it might explain why your not getting any answers to your question.

I tried working up loads with the 100 grain but never got the accuracy I wanted. I shot 90gmx with RL-22 and they are accurate and two deer I shot both dropped on the spot. I'm sold on them.
