Default Bighorn River Reserve

Hi. Does anyone know if you can fish the bighorn river downstream of highway 11 on the reserve? I know that you can (with a few exceptions) be on a river below the high water mark on private property. I’m unsure about the reserve though.
Thank you.

I recall that reserves include the river bottom.

Hopefully not too late for you...

The reserve is only on the north side of the river for about 1 km downstream of the highway bridge, and then on both sides of the river downstream of that.

I was there last year, we were headed downstream of the highway bridge towards the reserve portion of the river.
A guy that was random camping there warned us that there is a guy that waits in the bushes for fishermen to come through. He tells them they are trespassing, and demands the pay him a fine for being there.

We didn't want the hassle and turned around.

How close is the Big Horn Campsite to the reserve?

He must be board sitting in the bushes. Most fishermen wouldn’t walk that far down from the highway. Plus, I doubt anyone would pay him. Thanks for the info. I wouldn’t want the hassle either.
