It's out near Canmore on Hwy 1A, directions are on the blog.
I was also up at Grassi Lakes last Monday, which is a nice walk and totally ice free right now (which is weird b/c other ponds around are still frozen - but it is spring fed, so that probably helps) and the fish are rising up there. watched a bunch of little brookies jumping. Few photos of that on the blog, too, if anyone is interested. Water is so clear you can see the fish 15 feet down. Maybe more - all the way to the bottom.

The Upper Bow around Canmore is looking decent right now, too. Not much run-off from the mountains yet, and the ice-shelves are almost all gone. Lots to do - I know people don't want to drive out just to find the river's blown or something, but to me it's worth the trip even if you don't catch anything. A bad day in the mountains is better than a good day at the office, right?
