Default rabbit hunting

do you need to be a "resident" of Alberta to hunt rabbit.
can i take my friend from Ontario rabbit hunting while he visits?

Judging from the looks of the regs, I would say no license required but would still need a win and wildlife certificate. It is still hunting after all. However a CO may be the best way to know for sure.

i ended up calling the fish cops, they said that as long as he is a Canadian citizen he can hunt them without any license.
he does not have to be a "resident" of Alberta
