Default Hunting 337

Hey everyone,

I am going to head to 337 on saturday to hunt for white tails and elk. Any hints on hunting elk in 337? Never shot and elk and would love the chance to see one this year....

Anyone here hunt 337?

Hunt the fringe forest zones that are backed up against agricultural lands. Get yourself a county map so you know where the crown land is or try your luck with a few local landowners. Good luck.

Be prepared for a crowd of other hunters too.

The trick (as it usually is) is finding them to begin with.. having spent some time in that zone, they don't often make themselves visible in daylight.
