wondering if someone knows why the lake is down so far? looks like maybe a new canal going in north of the campground maybe?

Looking at the EID website it looks like they are adding some new water via pipes to a few places. One looks like just north of the campground in the pic so maybe why.

I heard they were putting in a new subdivision to the north of the park. All I know is they started digging in June and were still digging my last day in the boat on Nov 7th. It is lower than normal though.

havent been out too often this winter but Im going to do lots more fishing now. no giants yet, best Ive done was only a fat 42 incher that would have been close to 25 she was a porker.

Water levels are down due to the demand for irrigation water this pas summer. Secondly, the EID is converting an open canal to closed pipeline. The inlet for the pipeline is North of Kinbrook just inside Reddelback Bay. A peninsula was built and a large concrete inlet was installed to serve the pipeline. Also, the EID built a wave break at the Marina.

Thanks for the info, I figured you would probably know. guess i will have to go have a look might be a new spot to fish over there now
