Default How High are you?

How high is your tree stand and why?
I am buiding a stand on my land and just not quite sure how high I want to build it.
Too high reduces the size of target you are shooting at, and too low may give me away.

I personally only go 20ft up, seams to be just fine for shooting and limiting detection.

TM stop drinking the hairspray.

On average most people set up from 15-20 feet up.

18 - 20 feet , much higher and the angle into the vitals starts to shrink pretty rapidly. I'm usually closer to 20, at 15 ft, i've been busted too many times. I think the deer in the zone I hunt (Edm. bowzone) are getting educated cause they seem to be lookin up more often then they used to.

Default High

15-20 feet for me as well. Had them walk right under the stand. They don't seem to pay much attention to "up" where I hunt. Might be a different situation in an area that has cats in it though.
