Default Edmonton area: looking for partner(s) Sun. July 21; Beginners / kids / dogs welcome!

Hey Folks:

Looking to go and scout some new areas on the Freeman River tomorrow. If anyone wants to come, pm me. Weather looks...ok.

If you're a beginner / newbie, and want to try fly fishing, let me know. Fill up my gas tank and I'll trade you 30 years of knowledge, plus I have spare equipment if need some. Kids / dogs welcome. I'm a school teacher with EPSB, have done fly fishing instruction since 1998.

Edmonton area. We will meet in the west end around 7am.

Pm me!

Cheers,
Mike

Default Freeman

I was at the Freeman on Saturday, bridge south of Swan Hills, and the river was high and fast. I gave it a try but it was like fly fishing in chocolate milk.

Yep! I quickly left. Was able to find clearer water. Caught a few.

Ended up cutting across 32, down to Edson; did some scouting.
