Done a few over the years and they are not that hard to do. Has it been replaced before? If not this is what you will need.
You need a drill, sharp 1/4 or 5/16 bit, chisel, punch, hammer, 18mm or 21 mm combo wrench, pry bar, pliers and a set of side cutters.
Drill thru the top of the rivets to about half way thru the rivet. This will cause the rivet to collapse. Take the top of the rivet off with the chisel.
Turn the whole assembly to you can take the big nut off the ball joint. You don't need to remove the cotter pin as it will shear off.
Getting the ball joint to split from the hub can be a bit of a pain but a dozen good smacks with a BFH will get it to separate. If not you can rent a ball joint splitter.
Once you have it split then you can take the ball joint out of the upper control arm.
Reverse process to put back together minus the hammer.
