Default Rogue Cops Exposed

Whether you support their position or not this is simply unacceptable.

Police Chiefs need to act to restore public confidence and some terminations would set the tone.

Some of Lethbridge’s finest. That police service needs to be investigated, something definitely wrong going on.

Typed & deleted my sarcastic post, quite unfortunate the state of LE in many parts of the province. The 'Blue Wall' has done more harm than many of them will ever understand.........no they didn't operate in a vacuum, others knew what they were up to.

Thumbs down

I am not sure I agree with this grandstanding, it sure helps the PM in his 'issues'

Premier Jason Kenney also took to Twitter stating, “this conduct is completely unacceptable. It’s deeply disturbing that police officers used their powers for private purposes in unauthorized surveillance of an elected official"

Elected Officials should be given special consideration? They already are, but I think should be held to higher office than citizens.

I guess nobody cares that she was meeting with Tides Foundation people and Y2Y people from the US?...after which came the policies to begin shutting down the eastern slopes. The poor little girl has to realize that as an elected MLA and an environment minister , the public has a right to know what she is up to.

If this is true then she's an enemy agent herself.

Lots of frustration over the NDP Castle issue not having local citizen input. The police officers need to pursue this when off duty.

Need..... LIKE...... Button!!!!

Ask where her private ranch (and Notley's) border.... I've heard that the Castle Wildland Park is now their own private backyard. I'm not sure that this is true, however it turned into someone's private backyard.....

How dare a government lock the rest of it's citizens out of prime CROWN land?

This is what bothers me.

“Phillips adds that while she has a good relationship with senior Lethbridge police officers, the issues within the department run deep.“

Yep. And I thought that local police forces were the answer to everything wrong with the big bad RCMP?

LEOs should not be above the law and I applaud there demotions, and there still pushing further investigation so they may be fired yet. As for elected official if the majority doesn't agree with them they’ll be voted out if there’s a better option.

Yes, they can be voted out...usually it's after they have done things that fit their twisted agenda and not the general populations agenda, and will cost millions to reverse

I guess I learned police misconduct can be OK, depending on which team they are misconducting for.

They were dealt with already. I'm sure there's much more to the story than what was published.

I don't condone police abusing their positions in anyway, but it's not like Phillips hasn't made all sort of enemies while in government. Anyone remember her lying about the RCMP advising her not to hold a town hall meeting due to threats that never happened?

I don't care which "side" you're on..if an elected official is colluding with a bunch of environmental wing nuts from another country to shut down vast areas of our province to the public I would hope that the citizens would want to hear about it before said politician rams it through...but that's just me...
