From his mug shot it does not look like it was a case of just having one glass of wine too many at dinner.

Looks like it was a pretty good bender he was on.

Rough.....going to have to limo it now.

What difference does his income make? If you can afford the booze...

His difference is that he can afford around-the-clock chauffeurs for a Maybach and bodyguards. With what this will do to his endorsement contracts it would have been cheaper to have had such staff at his 24hour beck and call. Heck, his publicist could have been the minion as it would have made their job easier (they're probably overpaid just like he is)

So you think people drunk drive because they can't afford a cab or Uber? If they can afford to go to a bar they can afford a cab. Income or lack of it has no bearing on the issue. It's a fake excuse. There is NO difference.

Nope, you're over-analyzing. I said he especially should not, that does not by any stretch imply that others should, nor excuse them for it. Its just stating the obvious that due to his financial means he had more options available to him than others would have, not everyone could get a limo or a helicopter. Lets face it, if Charlie from Moose Jaw gets plastered and drives home its certainly just as bad, the main difference is that Charlie isn't going to lose millions in future (and current) product endorsements. Remember how Kiefer Sutherland got tossed as a Ford spokesman after his DUI?

Whatever happened to Dudley Moore's 'Arthur' character anyways? Has society got no love for the blathering wino anymore?

Alternately, Charlie from Moose Jaw without a license will now have no way to get to work, no way to take his family to hockey practice, grocery shopping, etc., while Tiger will then simply have someone drive or fly him around. So who was really more foolish? The answer is that they are both equally foolish.

I would like to see what his BAC was.
I'm not trying to defend him, but I can see his team of Defense Lawyer's giving their reasoning to the charge. "Your Honor, our client has had many major painful back surgeries and is on several pain medications". "He only had 1 glass of wine and the Doctors did not advise him not to mix the 2". BLAH,BLAH,BLAH!

Ya just gotta comment on everything, right??
Of course that's what anyone thinks...but as a 'star' there will be people willing to cut him some slack...why, I don't know.

I was wrong to comment? You commented.... What an inane thing to say. What you mean to say is "I'm mad but I can't think of anything intelligent to say in the way of rebuttal." LOL

And neither I nor caber were advocating cutting him slack because of his star status. Please try to keep up if you wanna throw darts.

If I had Tigers bankroll I'd travel in one of those antique luxury litters and the bearers would be 8 attractive women. Maybe make it 9 and one could rotate on break in the litter with me

At least within a reasonable distance from my various estates anyways, that conveyance might take a while for highway trips between them.....

Only one? You are so lacking in ambition, Caber. Or is it stamina?

Default Drunken Tiger

I have no sympathy for anyone that drinks & drives, then gets charged with DUI. You know for a guy who was perceived by everyone to be "living the dream", he certainly hasn't done himself proud since 2008. It'll be interesting to see how the Florida courts deal with this. O.J. Simpson would be proud.

Court records state that Tiger Woods was asleep at the wheel of his car when police in Jupiter, Florida spotted him stopped in the right lane of the road early Monday morning, according to Tthe Palm Beach Post.
Also, police records obtained Tuesday by ESPN show Woods was subjected to two breathalyzer tests and blew .000 twice.
