Default when do deer shed antlers??

I was driving up by Dutchess today and saw a couple of small muley bucks with antlers. Question is have they not dropped yet or is this new growth? I was too far away and no binos to get a good look.

Still packing I'd guess.
The deer have had a very easy winter, and with this comes low stress. Low stress means they sport their headgear longer.

It's all relevant as they shed them when they shed them. There's no predicting when.

I'd figure there's gonna be very few Antlered up deer by mid month.

I saw a half dozen smaller mulies about a week ago, all still packing. All in due time.
