Yeah, I usually leave it for a good 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. Like threeforthree said, if there are fresh tracks around, I'll give it a try, especially if it is one of my proven locations
if at all possible i wont hunt the same shooting position for a few months. if i want to call the same coulee or brush patch i will wait a few weeks then call to the area from a different spot to keep them from wising up to my favorite vantage points.

Usually a week. But I've had luck going back the same afternoon. Especially if you just howl the second time, especially if you shoot one the first time. Kinda like they're looking for their buddy or mate.
Depends on what success I have at a spot , . If i get a shot and miss I wait a week or go back in 2-3 days and try a different sound and slightly different location . I dont have enough spots available to being waiting 2 - 3 weeks like some can .
