Default Bows in Provincial Parks

I was just curious as to the regulations surrounding transporting a bow through a provincial park. I am well aware that a rifle must be encased while you are in the park but I am not sure about transporting archery equipment. any help is much appreciated.

cheers,

Default Bows

I don't believe there are any restrictions on carrying a bow in a Provincial park.

I wouldn't walk around out of season with the bow in hand and a quiver full of broadheads with one on the nock hahaha.

Otherwise though, I'm not aware of any restrictions for archery equipment while in a Provincial Park, or a National Park for that matter.

As they say the internet is the worst place to go for legal advice, I'd check this site and fire them an e-mail if you can't find the info posted.

Good luck!

Thanks Dylan,

I found a link from that site that took me to the legislation for provincial parks. In their definitions it states that a weapon that propels a projectile with an explosion, spring, string....etc. is classified as a firearm. interesting. I guess that they do have to be either disabled or encased.

Thanks for that link.
