Default Where do you chat..

Was just reading a post by verysavage and in it he mentioned some other forums he frequents... And it got me wondering where else everyone visits I'm sure there are some other good ones out there...

Of course this one is my favorite and by far the busiest I have found yet.. I also am a regular on..

http://www.sportfishingbc.com/forum/

and I also just recently joined...

http://huntshoot.coastangler.com/hunting/index.php?

It's not a bad site just kind of slow.. But I have to say I have viewed a few and this forum seems to be by far the most active and informative. So lets hear some other's

I like this forum best because it's local Alberta based, I participate on the NAHC forums because I am a life member there, I got into that NAHC since I used to guide & alot of my customers were NAHC members, I go to the Marlin & Ruger forums because I own a Marln 444 XLR, Ruger M77MkII, Ruger K10/22T, and two Ruger pistols.

Walleyes, this is in fact the only site I frequent (other than facebook). I used to do the poker thing but it got old fast (read: I sucked), and then I was on an arborist's forum for a bit, but coming home from work to chat about work lost its appeal very quickly (maybe that's why I never hunt from tree stands.... ). This site is amazing, I've learned so much and have met and talked to so many great and knowledgable outdoorsmen it has blown my mind. This is probably the best 'local' site on the 'net!

I mod a video posting site but there is not much "chat" going on there. I also help run a "flame" board which consists of a bunch of whiny pukes who have nothing better to do than start arguments about ...well anything. I go to CGN but don't post much...WAY too political there to be able to speak your mind.

Other than that I just come here.

Default More Forums

Here are a few forums that a hunting/fishing buddy gave me but I have only used them a little as this forum is the best I have found so far. As you can see his a bit of a fishing nut as they are all about fishing.

http://www.fishalberta.com/phpBB2/

http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/

http://members.boardhost.com/fishalberta/

This one is great and has some great videos attached with some monster fish.

http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php

This one is not a forum but good maps for fishing

As you can see I spend all day at my desk so having a little distraction is wonderful. Hopefully this will help a few more people get more information!

The main ones I frequent are

24hr. Campfire. Really good info, by literally hundreds of members. A little bit on the Remington/Leuppy/Macmillan band wagon though, & if you happen to post negatively about any of them.........you will know it!!

Accurate reloader. Same as above, but not any particular "Band wagon" other than a strong presence of Big bore shooters & African hunters. Also seems to be really politcal.

CGN, pretty much only check the classifieds on that Board though.

And this one, that about sums it up. On occasion I check out Long range Hunting.com
