Hey guys i'm looking at get a 25-06 in the stevans 200. Does anybody have this gun. And whats your opinon i'm kind of on a budget but want a new toy.

The Stevens 200 in any caliber is downright hard to beat as far as bang for your buck is concerned. I have 3 of them, .223, 22-250 and 7mm-08. Easy to customize and fool with, deadly accurate. Not pretty, but they lend themselve to easy and affordable customization. I'd say don't cheap out on optics as they are very well capable to hold up to good optics.

I have had em in .270, .30-06, and .308 and they all shot awesome. P&D in Edmonton has them for 369.00 while wholesale in Edm hasn't had any for a while.

SIR/Cabela's spring flyer has 'em for 309.99.

By the looks of things, these little puppies seem to be getting harder to get. Popularity? restricted imports into Canada? I'm not sure, but I'd say if you have your eyes on one, get them while you can. Same goes for a Marlin lever gun.
