We have pie ingredients in the pantry, but only meat pies in the freezer. In a pie emergency I merely have to put the ingredients on the counter, then make my best hungry face and Mrs Caber leaps into action.

To verify my claim that Mrs Caber would make me a pie immediately upon request I went and asked her and honest to God she was about to throw one together until I revealed it was just a test request .

Usually have at least one meat pie and a fruit pie of some sort in the freezers
There is a cherry pie and a venison pie in there at the moment

Rug- store bought or home made raisin pie?
If home made, you missed your calling in life!

I was on a diet and found I was eating a pie a day. Funny thing is I never lost any weight.

Nothing qualifies as an emergency when you have pie

I won't call it emergency pie but we usually have frozen Meyer Lemon pie at the ready. I pre-slice so it is easy to bust one off.
A tradition started when I rushed the custard one time and it was way too slack to lift and we had company coming so I froze it just trying to salvage the evening.
Mrs. Omega prefers Meringue , but I hate making meringue so I freeze it as it is.
I guess breakfast is as good a time as any to have some pie to cool down after my Hot Italian Breakfast Sausage Hash

We have a lot of pie fixings in the freezer....sour cherries mostly, thanks to the generosity of Huntinstuff....but no pie. And lots of red Angus, as I was too indifferent (lazy?) to hunt this year.

Frozen pie.......Blasphemy!
Frozen pie shells are okay in a fix but the filling must be as fresh as possible. Apple and cherry pie filling from our fruit trees are processed in mason jars.

I make dough on a regular basis and freeze it for a month or two with no issues.

Pie gets made. Pie gets eaten.
No chance of it ever getting into the freezer!

I used to keep a Cherrie pie on speed dial.
I think if I kept one in the freezer I would be in some sort of trouble

You must teach us! No way I could get pie on demand like that.
