Seen some scary pictures the other day of a fellow hunter who was shooting his 17 with 20 grain bullets loaded five into the clip fired one shot and the whole works went off in the clip one shell was found with the case ruptured and the bullet still intack in the cartridge neck.
The shooter suffered from a bleeding nose and the observer had his ear sliced.Could have been way worse.They found the spring from the clip and the bullet retainer.The explosion caused the bleeding nose but some schrapnel to the ear and a deafening noise.
I was told a more about this but said i would not say more as iam sure the manufactuer of that amo will be contacted to explain what had happened

which brand of rifle was he shooting? Mag design may be at fault as well.

was this a semi auto? if so the gun has been recalled by remington
