Hey, I'm looking for a gun range somewhere north of calgary taking members. i just got my restricted pal and wanting to buy a gun but need to be a member somewhere. I've googled this online with not much luck so does anyone know of a range with pistol bays between calgary and red deer. Thanks.
Two in Red Deer, I am a member at the Fish and Game range, and seriously considering the Red Deer Shooting Sports Association. Fish and game has a range set up primarily for rifles, but with a pistol lane, as well as an indoor range in the city.
The shooting sports assoc. has an outdoor range dedicated to pistols.
I also believe, but am not totally sure, that Olds has a F&G club range with a handgun lane.

Great place. Nice and clean. Check the MVMA website for schedule to see when large matches are going on. Gets a little busy during matches, but hey, just join IDPA/ATHL and play along!
