Importing a rifle from the US

Is it possible to import a rifle into Canada from the US, and if it is, what's all involved in the procedure?

You require import and export permits some of which are not cheap.I use Clay from Prophet River to handle my import requirements.He takes care of all of the paperwork for around $200.
