Best Trigger Ever
Okay lets see what you folks have determined is the best factory trigger , as well as the best pick for an aftermarket one. The best triggers I have encountered on factory rifles goes to Sako and Tikka (older models). Have only ever shot one target rifle with a jewel trigger(it was very touchy), but that doesn't qualify me as an expert

That's really saying something if you consider the trigger on the Coopers to be that good. Some say the weakest link on a Cooper rifle is the trigger(like many rifles?)

Did Remigton increase the lock time of the firing pin on the 40 xb as well as improve the trigger ? I haven't seen one around for years but they won alot of matches thats for sure

I would have to say the tikka t3 trigger is the best traditional trigger I've felt from a factory gun. I would rate the browning abolt trigger with timney spring kit on par or perhaps a tad better than the t3.
I have a savage accutrigger and I'd have to say it is only on par with the t3 and fixed browning.

For a factory trigger on a hunting rifle I don't mind the one on my Sako Vixen.
I have a couple Coopers and am contemplating putting a Jard trigger in the one.
I have a Remington 700 CDL in 17 Fireball that required some tweaking to get the trigger just manageable, I will be putting a Timney in it before long.

I have heard some good reviews on the Shilen trigger, but I have yet to try one, perhaps even better than Timney. I really like the triggers on my Sako Finnfires as far as a factory trigger..

I,ll go with Elkhunter on that one . The 40XB is one of the best, the adjustment is awesome. You can go down to 2 oz.safely for bench work.
In the US, lots of silhouette shooters still use them.

The best factory trigger I have had on a rifle was the Tikka M595. I tuned it right down and it broke like glass.

Bang for buck, Accutrigger. Very happy with my Sharp Shooter Supply trigger on a Stevens.

The "best" hunting trigger is the original Model 70 trigger of course.

Don't choke Chuck but I'm gonna agree with you on that. I have a few that have been tuned by Greg at Corlanes and they just don't come any better than that.

The best trigger ever? Tell your wife that she's fat!
Sorry, I'm in one of those moods.

Brno double set is great, but don't like the CZ single set.

For my Rugers, I really like the Kepplinger single set.
For my match rifles, I like the Canjar 2lb. match trigger.
