Actually found the Gap Pond void of neoprene…..

a rare occurrence…!

Yes.. lots more. I took an ex student who stayed in touch with me out and showed him the whole general OMR system.

I let him do the majority of the fishing… b/c I’m training Lucy to be a good fishin doggo (no more fetching the fish!… ugh!) he caught his three PB sized cutties and cutbows…. We lost count of the number of fishies…. It was one of those days where you look like you totally know what you’re doing on the river.

On one long stretch…. I sighted the rises… he presented the bug. And WHAM!
Three beauty +16 inch cutties on one small hole. The kids got skill!

I’ll just show him here fighting a nice one.


( You’ll notice the lack of an expensive rubber tire tube on his waist…. And that the watercolor isn’t putrid green like Muir Lake…..)… some would call this real fly fishing ….!
