Default Favourite type of Stock

Hey i was just wondering what you guys think of any of the synthetic vs. a good walnut stock or a laminated one.

I love the look and feel of nice walnut, but when it comes to hunting I like synthetic, they're lightweight and I don't really care about bumping or scratching them.

X2 for my money they all wear McMillans.

Synthetic is not necessarily lighter than walnut but they sure can be and they are generally more resistant to abuse, more stable, and cheaper. Good walnut and someone to install it is EXPENSIVE.

I much prefer the look of painted synthetic to mediocre wood any day.

And yes. Not all synthetics are created equal. McMillan for me as well.

Ill put my vote in for Mcmillan.

Absolutely the best stocks going, and so many different configurations are possible that it makes your head spin!!
