Default new stock question??

I have a savage MarkII 22 mag that I have been thinking it would be nice to get a new thumb hole stock for. You guys that do all the custom builds where would you start looking at different designs? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but it is a deadly little gun and I would like to customise it for me. Am I going to screw up the accuracy of it? I have never done this so any advice is appreciated. What not to do, what to do, what to stay away from ect.ect.ect.

Default Savage Stock

not sure where you will find one, but heard Pug at Bashaw Sports carries stocks for those rifles.
As far as effecting accuracy, it would probably only improve on it if you bed it properly, which you could do your self with a bedding kit, or pay a gunsmith.
