Default Canadian Forces Member Charged with Passing Information in Rare Espionage Case

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/canadian-fo...203139533.html

Interesting, a member of the Canadian military has been charged with communicating information that could harm Canada's interests to a undisclosed foreign entity.

If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on Israel as the foreign entity.
Any time the controlled media goes to such lengths to not name the "foreign entity", it usually means it is Israel.

Anybody else dare t make a guess which country the traitor was spying for.

Jim

Yup, I would wager Japan or China. If they could confirm Isreal the MSM would pound on that drum until your ears were bleeding.

But chances are we will never know who the other country is.

Read the book "Nest of Spies" by Fabrice de Pierrebourg and Michel Juneau-Katsuya, and you may come up with a few more guesses. Well worth buying the book. Israel is probably the last country in the world we have to worry about. When they spy on us it's usually because they're spying on the terrorists living in Canada. At least someone keeps an eye on them.

Russians according to Lisa Laflamme tonight. Had access to American and allied ship locations according to them. If true its bad. We may never know as it will probably be hushed at court level. (publication ban)

The Russians have satellites so they can see where our ships are.
What would be of interest to them is knowing where they are going, and for what purpose.

I would not believe everything they say untill they execute him for what ever crime. as there is alot of information that is past around in that crowd and they do every thing they can to make it look like the real deal.

Don't for one minute believe a single word coming from the media about the identity of the "foreign entity" in these types of cases. After all, the old cold war rhetoric with the Soviets over Iran and Syria needs to be ramped up to a higher level in order to justify another war.

Israel would love to know the location of NATO war ships in order to pull another "false flag" operation to get the war with Iran rolling. Do some research into the the USS Liberty attack by Israel during the 1967 Six Day War. The Israelis are not necessarily the good guys in the world.

Lisa the Flame is likely just acting as a "disinformation organ" for CSIS in order to deflect attention away from the guilty party or parties.
After all, our country's former spy chief in 2010 said that some politicians were under the influence of a foreign government.

The political masters must be protected at all costs.

Russian satellites or whomever cannot see where the nuke subs are. I would imagine surface vessals are well accounted for. Until proven otherwise the Russians may be as guilty as any one so I will give the media a small smidgeon of credibility. Time MAY tell but until then paranoia will rule.

There are many satellites in orbit, controlled by many different parties, that can see where ships are.

What I find incredibly interesting is that Canada launched a satellite named Seasat in 1978. It used synthetic aperture radar for remote sensing the Earth's oceans. Seasat suffered a complete electrical system failure: after around 100 days in orbit.

Such a failure is a little peculiar. It has been hypothesized that Seasat was able to determine the location of military submarines, that the US was none to happy with us having the technology, and that Seasat's "failure" wasn't a failure at all: we just buckled at the knees, agreed to stop using it, and publicly announced that the satellite was out of commission due to electrical failure.

I side with the conspiracy theorists on this one: partially because I side with the conspiracy theorists on the Arrow's fate. If it happened once (to the Arrow) I can certainly see it happening again (with Seasat).

EDIT: I should clarify. It was actually "launched" by the US, and was managed by NASA in orbit.

Shelley:

Some of those "conspiracy theories" have been proven true.

For example:

The Howard Hughes Global Explorer project.

The real reason the U.S. Navy built their DSRV system.

Motive? I'm guessing he's P.O.ed because he's 40 and only a sub-lieutenant. I think that is often a motivation. Feels his amazing talents aren't being recognized. Anyone else strokes and compliments him and he folds. Tha't MY theory

He started out as non-commisioned. Commisioned in 2008. Promotion to LT (N) probably imminent. Nothing unusual. Lt (N) is a Captain in the AF or Army.

I would be difficult. But I guess they can check for certain personality traits.
They screen submariners for compatibility, psychological testing etc. They need to for a bunch of guys living together underwater in confined spaces for weeks at a time.
My interview for the navy was pretty much a simple IQ test and a medical..........cough..... your in!

I say it's PIRATES!

Who might most want to know the location of ships, rules of engagement, etc.? Somali Pirates, the guys we are most likely to be shooting at. I'm just sayin'... LOL

I had a security clearance while in the military as a communications operator and it was one level above what you would think was the top. Anyone who subjects this country to information that would bring us harm, would subvert any other friendly nation which we share information to our benefit and security, should be put up against a wall and double tapped with no remorse.

I perceive for a fact, sir, you were once a wise man.
PLEASE...Please stop with the logic and common sense.
It will eat your brain!
