Yup, part of the reason why I made this poll. Last week I went to Dawson Creek and this past weekend went to Calgary. In numerous places on both trips I seen big billboards for Danielle Smith. It got me thinking how many people out there are supporting her.

With some of the recent comments from the new PC leader I have pretty much lost all interest in them and am looking for someone new to support.

Sums it up nicely. Time for a real Conservative party in Alberta, not the
Conservative party....which doesn't even rate a small 'c' conservative in my books with the current Red tory leader. Not impressed with that lady, but sure like what I'm seeing with Danielle Smith. Hopefully there are a large, majority large, number of Albertans who feel the same way. I think there is.

Did you see in the news today Ms. Redford wants another federal energy program.

Now if that don't run a brownstreak down old greylynx's leg.

Psst: Dawson Creek is in B.C.

I hoped you enjoyed your drive through Pouce Coupe.

Ya, I'm not sure they would be the best choice for outdoorsmen based on some of their policy especially surrounding game farming but for me it's kind of anyone but PC vote. Rocky times ahead for hunters in this province no matter who gets elected I fear.....

Meh. They all make me puke. I'm not sure democracy makes any sense to me, any more.

Kind of like my thoughts about our current Minister of SRD. This man has done nothing good in my opinion to help us as outdoorsmen.

WRP. Out with Red Redder Redford. What exactly is she doing running around trying to hook up with that liberal in Quebec for a national energy thing? Nothing else to do? And he says he's cool with it as long as it doesn't involve hydro electric energy regulation. Duh.

11.7 Alberta Workers First: The Alberta Social Credit Government will not allow foreign workers to work on oil sands projects as long as qualified Albertans are available to do the jobs.

4.14 Buy Back Alberta Company: The Alberta Social Credit Government would establish a holding company with the mandate of increasing Albertans’ ownership of Alberta’s natural resource and other key industries. The company would invest in existing and new ventures to ensure Albertans have controlling interest in these ventures.

Surprising and splendid result.

I'd have to hold my nose to vote for my WRA candidate but I've heard Danielle Smith speak a few times and she's a winner. Stelmach dodged a bullet when he got out of her sights, for sure.

The PC party is full of liberals, including our Premier. They need to go.

Alberta has a history of huge political change. We've had Liberal, Social Credit and now, since around 1971, P.C. governments. We don't change governments often, it seems only about every 25-40 years, but when they go - they're GONE.

It's time.

I lived through the N.E.P. In my opinion, she's a traitor. Plain and simple.

Unforunatly in the riding I live in , the WRP canadite is a crook I cannot support, the PC guy is one retiring ( heading for the hills, gettin while the gettins good, whatever other cliche you can insert here) who knows who'll replace him. For the first time scince I have been 18 (19 years ago) I don`t think I will show up to vote.SAD really, but when you can go to the fort sask pen line up ten inmates and play inny minny and wind up with a more credible canadite then what is being offered up here where does that leave a guy.
