Wholesale Sports Online sales - Epic fail!!
Hmmm, in this day and age you'd think that a business like WSS would want to key in on online sales seeing that it's a large part of their competitor's business.
Made an inquiry regarding some gloves and no response in 2 weeks!! I have since ordered them online from the US and they were shipped that day with delivery within the week!! Oh and less expensive, to boot!!

Not really surprising considering they are owned by UFA and their web site is equally bad. For whatever reason(s) the management at UFA has failed to join the rest of Canada in the 21st Century. Personally I expect both companies to do a long slow death spiral until one of the American big box stores buys the leftover bones and starts anew.
Just my opinion mind you.
Regards,
Dave.

WS has some of the worst management I've ever seen. Doesn't surprise me at all.

Had no problems with their web service. Sittin over here in Albania on a rig. Went online when those Savage's were on sale. Provided all the pertinent info and five days later there's a new rifle at my house.
People only seem to post when they have something negative to say. I guess you don't get as wound up when things go exactly as planned.

Not an intent to derail, but had a pretty messed up experience with BPS online last week. I tried to order a stock system for my 10/22 with a vertical grip and a red-dot sight. My order went through, but the stock and sight were removed from the order. I called right away to find out what the scoop was. They told me they wouldn't ship the "scary stuff" to Canada. "Scary stuff"...their word!!! Apparently they don't want to get into the black gun stuff in Canada so they aren't tarred with the "Tactical" brush in Canada.

I can't speak about actually ordering a product (maybe my exp. would have been more positive) as the question I had regarding the one I was considering ordering wasn't answered, so never got to the ordering stage!! Unfortunately for them, I never will!

It's not the retailer, it's USA's Homeland Security that enforces this. Without and "export" permit, retailers in the US can get into big time ****. It's not worth the risk or hassle to them. Do some research on trying to order a scope from pretty much any place in the USA, practically no one ships to Canada any longer. Again, don't blame the retailer, blame the American Government. Very little firearms related stuff can legally be shipped out of the USA into Canada without jumping through a number of hoops.
