Default Cheapest Range in Alberta

Hello Everyone,

Where is the cheapest gun range Alberta that can do an online membership to satisfy CFO restricted gun requirements? I just need to be a member on paper since I won't be going there.

This used to suffice for a membership. Price went up a bit from last time I checked but still not too bad.

X2.

You only have access to the range if it is not in camp use and the availability of staff (unless you are a range officer). However, it does meet CFO requirements.

Slave lake was $60. But you have to pay in person at the quad shop

It’s also a nice range incase you do decide to go shoot.

I was told it had to be the closest gun range to where you live, maybe that wasn't true.

That is incorrect.

Bringing an old thread back to live, but does anyone know if the above statement is still true?

It does the trick for me, plus you're supporting a good organization that benefits the hunting community as a bonus.

With the AB CFO being a genuine gun person, we're not going to be getting things made any more difficult here, in fact I expect things to ease within the limitations of their discretion.

So I explained to the RCMP and the CFO that I live rural and not close to any one range in particular, and that because I have not found a range I want to commit to being a member just yet that I only want to do drop in at various ones until I find the right one and they said no problem and made a note in my file saying so.

So far, no problem not having a membership at any range and transferring stuff. I should note that I absolutely do plan on becoming a member somewhere around here, but I just have not had enough time over the summer to get anything sorted.
