Default Is anyone else getting bad tags?

I ordered a dozen tags online and got them in the mail the other day, go to purchase my licenses online today. They sent me 1 valid tag and 11 invalid ones. Is anyone else having this issue?

I received mine on Thursday and they are in one strip and numbered properly from 12 to 19. If yours are in a long strip something must have gone very wrong. Do they have the bar code portion?

The only one that wasn’t attached is the only one that works. They all look perfectly normal.

Can you post a pic? Also if they have 00 and then the numbers the 0.s have to be entered. Mine are 0047----- Call them in the morning.

We probably got them from the same batch. I have already used mine and no problems. Phoning them may resolve it or a private vendor if you need them for your bow zone.

I ordered tags a month ago and they never showed up.
Hopefully they are good when they do show up.

I had a bunch of tags last year that did not work, calling did not resolve the problem. I had to order new ones. Since your in Sherwood Park you can go to the ACA office at 101, 9 Chippewa Road and get new tags. They will also let you purchase your license from one of their computers to confirm that tag is valid. If your in a real bind message me as I have a few tags left over that should work.

Thanks for the offer. I plan on stopping at ACA this afternoon to grab more. Hoping those ones will work.

I have a big batch of tags I got a few years ago and have been using for the past 4 or 5 years. Are the tags for this year different than the past years, if so may have to go get a new batch. Thanks.

Yes, are we still able to use last year's blank tags?

If they are green tags then yes, yellow (if you have any left) are a no go as they are too old.

Well, I stopped at ACA today and picked up another dozen tags, different sets of numbers (non-sequential). Not a damn one of them works. Guess I’m at the mercy of the Alberta government to get their stuff figured out before I can hunt this year.

Did you buy your certificate first? Did the transcation complete?

I was able to purchase one license, a wildlife certificate, and bow hunters permit. I have those printed off already.

I have tried using various tags for various species and nothing will work. I’ll have to call them tomorrow.

If you want to try one of my tags the offer still stands.

I called AlbertaRelm today, it looks like the tags were never activated before they were sent out and I'm just the lucky guy that happened to pick up 23 of them. Going to try them again as soon as I can log in to AlbertaRelm, which might be a totally different issue lol

If they still don't work I'll probably take you up on your offer. I appreciate it.
