I have used a pressure washer many times. Its a great way to cut down on the boiling time. Never had any issues other than a little bit of the super thin bone around the nasal passages blowing through. you cant tell when they are on the wall though.

Got a 4 lt bottle of 30v cream and 2 single litres of 40v cream from local hair dresser for $65.
And she asked if I wanted a haircut while she had me on the phone, I said I was good, but she talked me into a 20 min scalp massage when I pick the stuff up, ahhh.
As long as she doesn’t use the stuff on me, ha.

I have always used bleach. But there is always a yellow sheen on the skull due to the oxidation. Hydrogen peroxide looks like it produces a whiter looking result. I may try it on the next head I get.

You use chlorine bleach? That’s not the right material and it weakens the bone. Peroxide is much better.

40% works great. After a light simmer(about an hour), i add baking soda and some curing salt to water. Any flesh peels right off and you have a clean bone to work with. After i mix an emulsion with 40% peroxide. Apply with a brush and let it dry out. After about 6 hours i'll rinse it and apply new coat. 2-3 coats is plenty.

I never do whole skulls, i cut em an inch behind antler and right accross eye sockets then i square it off on bottom. This way i'm fairly confident no flesh is left on the skull.

Might not be to everyones taste but i like it.

That yellow sheen could be the fat leaching out of the bone. It’s best to wash with a dishwashing detergent.

I put a little Oxyclean in the water too. It seems to work well and then I just use the paper towel and regular peroxide method like mentioned above.

Anybody know where to find this stuff? All the DIY instructions I've read say it's supposed to be super common and cheap but maybe that's just in the states.
Years ago I went to a taxidermy shop here in Calgary....I don't know if they are still around. Also try a Google Alberta search....AAA came up on a Calgary search.
Good luck.

BTW, on the AAA supply on-line catalogue sight scroll to page 60.
