Default Gun shop/store in edmonton

Hey guys can i get some places that you prefer to go to in edmonton. I normally like things on a bit more of the small personal style as opposed to a cabelas if possible. I want a place that will do service/maitenance, have new and used guns for sale and have a real good knowledge base. Maybe even an in store gunsmith if there is such a thing.

Im new to this whole thing and i want somewhere i can be loyal to and go for years to the same spot and get to know the people.

Thanks

Like above but there really are not very many options. Swamp Donkey but he carries little actual stock, will order whatever you want though, CX Shooters in Morinville but neither the Mom or the Kid are what I would call personable. The Shootist in St. Albert is under new ownership, previous owner was a great guy but the shop had really run down the last few years. The shop is now spanky clean and well organised. I have found the new owner and his wife to be just excellent to deal with. Not a huge shop but decent selection given the space limits plus he usually has some interesting used stuff.

P & D Enterprises seems to be one of the best that I have been to.

Second on Sights and Arms. Just saw their expanded shop recently, more room, more guns. Check them out.

I stopped by Sights and Arms yesterday afternoon. Not a big retail space but they did have quite a bit of new and a lot of consignment firearms. They had a few scopes and other gear as well. Talked with their staff and they were very friendly. Hoping they do well. Another shop to frequent is always good.
