Default My new fishing bud

Took a small trip to the little smoky on days off it was high but somewhat clear i found some fish in a small side channel thankfully because theyre was no way we were crossing. This is my new fishing buddy champ not the best wading dog out there but he can run the beaver trails on the bank like no ones buisness lol

Nice looking partner and a nice fish.

Look at those inquisitive curious eyes and ears, nose sniffing away. Tail perked. Nothing but awesomeness in this pic. Pooch looks adorable and healthy.
Champ.

I love taking my dog fishing, but it took more training than I expected to make him fully reliable. Have you ever taken a dog fishing before?

Thx all for the replys. No i haven taken a dog fishing before, champ is pretty reliable so far he doesnt really wonder too far away from me. I think it depends on the dog mostly some dogs listen great and live to please you and other dogs dont listen and could care less about making their owners happy. That being said champ will run up to strangers and bark while were fishing if someone comes along which isnt the end of the world because i like fishing where nobody is anyway.
