Not having seen it so don't know how it plays out but from the link it looks like another make fun of dumb rednecks flick. I get the impression half of these 'hunting' shows are produced by anti hunting activists to further the notion and reinforce the stereotype that hunters are uneducated idiot bubbas.

I think it looks pretty funny. Seems to be aimed at mocking “Colorado Buck” along with a bunch of other hunting show hosts. And honestly some of those guys are dorks. But sometimes people accept or even like things through humour that they normally wouldn’t. I plan to watch it.

I think it looks like fun....don't agree with the quad jumping though...copycats all over will be Darwin Award winners.

Default The movie was ok.

Watched it on Netflix and it was not bashing hunters, maybe making my fun of some of the hunting show hosts but not that bad.
It gave a pretty good depiction of today’s broken homes and how youth are disconnected from nature and attached to their electronic devices.
In all it’s a lesson in humility.

Just saw it too, there's plenty in there for a broad range of people. Brolin fan so was hoping it was too california...and it wasn't. Better movie than lots imo and doesn't seem a bash fest to me. Give it a go. You'll likely have some part of it to relate too if not learn from lol.

Just watched it. I liked it.

I bet it was better than 95% of what’s on tv these days and most everyone still has cable...

That would have been awesome, I can see him using the double barrel lamp!

Watched it the other night with my wife and we had a good laugh. Then she asked me "That is not what Brendan first deer hunt will be like, will it?" I said "Nope the deer will be bigger!"

Danny McBride and Josh Brolin, actually kind of a fun show to watch. Silly but entertaining and that was the point
